Planting, bed construction, soil work and turf — installed after the grade and the drainage are right, so your plants sit in soil that drains instead of a bathtub.

What an installation includes
- Strip existing sod and remove failed plant material within the marked work area.
- Cut bed lines and set edging where the plan calls for it.
- Amend and grade planting soil to the specified depth.
- Set plant material per the drawing, with counts and sizes stated in the scope.
- Mulch beds to the specified depth, kept off trunks and crowns.
- Seed or sod turf areas, with the establishment window stated.

InstalledSalt spray along a drive, plow throw at the curb, and 90 freeze cycles a year decide what survives. Plant lists are written to the exposure each bed actually has, not to a catalog photograph.
- Salt-tolerant material within plow-throw distance of drives and walks.
- Beds sized for the plant at maturity, not at installation.
- Microclover and low-input turf where a lawn is more work than it is worth.
- Every plant on the list by name, size, and count in the written scope.
